To celebrate Swift Awareness Week our St Werburgh’s group are leading a Swift Walk. Sun 5 July • 7:30 pm – 9 pm

Last year’s walk (see left) was very succesful and everyone saw plenty of swifts.

Meet in Whalley Range Scout Hut, 7 Egerton Road South, Manchester M21 0YP – Doors open 7.15

Join us for a fun evening of swift spotting! Whether you’re a seasoned bird watcher or just curious, come along to enjoy the thrill of spotting these incredible aerial acrobats. Bring your friends, and let’s see how many swifts we can spot together under the evening sky. It’s a relaxed, friendly event perfect for all ages. Don’t miss out on this cool way to connect with nature and fellow bird lovers!

We will meet in the Scouts Building before heading out to look for swifts.

We encourage participants not to drive. If you need to, please avoid parking on the end of Egerton Road South near the Scouts. There is parking further up Egerton Road South, on Daventry Road or on Withington Road.
